This new series of reports in Google Analytics allows you to analyze precisely the user’s interactions in details on your digital ecosystem.
The first page of the report shows a Client ID list. As a reminder, it is the cookie GA , it consists of 2 series of consecutive numbers that counts anonymous device or browser instance. The cookie expires to 63072000 seconds (2 years), but the cookie expiration time is updated every time the user visits your site.

This report is crossed with the number of sessions , the average duration , bounce rate , revenue, number of transactions and the goal conversion rate.
When you enable the “User-ID Reports” in your view , you get the User ID instead of Client ID in your reports “User Explorer” Undoubltedly, you will gain precision for your analysis , here we speak of true unique user!
Let’s go a little further in the analysis by clicking on a Client ID or User ID . You go in the report on the user (User Report) . Google Analytics now shows the historical activity of your users in a very detailed way . A real revolution !
The view can be filter to show at your leisure Page View, Goal, Ecommerce or Event dimensions.
Finally small detail but not least , when you enable the User ID feature in your report , you will see the list of devices used by your users. Example below with the User ID 1 that browsed with both mobile and computer.
